At around 8:00 AM today, a serious event happened on the offshore oil rig “HeavyWell A-101,” and the LSPD SWAT team responded quickly. The situation is still happening and the investigation is being handled by FISA.
This Ready or Not: Dark Waters Repack incident on the offshore oil rig follow’s the recent failed assassination attempt on the newly elected governor Whitfield. The LSPD continues to work with the Highway Patrol, Protective Services, and federal officials to keep Governor Whitfield safe after the attack during a political event last month.
The LSPD’s new maritime units, along with the Los Sueños C.O.A.S.T. team, made it possible for them to respond quickly to the hostage situation. A UH-60 helicopter is now used for fast action and surveillance with SWAT teams.
There are also other events of interest such as a luxurious yacht party hiding a dark international crime, eco-terrorists taking over an oil rig and killing workers, and a mysterious deal taking place at an abandoned island resort.
In addition to the maritime V.B.S.S. and ATLAS equipment, there are new rifles added to the SWAT armory, like the MK17, GA51, M14S-16, MP5SD6, and G3 rifles. These will help SWAT unit’s handle dangerous situations from a distance.
The V.B.S.S. uniform gear comes from the Naval Special Operations unit: Eli-Tec Helmet, Phoenix Flight Suit, TP-1E Carrier, Phoenix Gloves, and Panama Boots.
